Do I need a subscription for the AI?

No. AuraCloak is just the overlay — it uses your own API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.). You pay your chosen AI provider directly, and only for what you use. AuraCloak itself is a one-time purchase.

Is my API key safe?

Yes. API keys are encrypted and stored locally on your machine. They never leave your device.

What OS is required?

Windows 10 (May 2020 Update or later) or Windows 11.

How does the license key work?

After purchase you receive a license key by email. Enter it on first launch and you're good to go.

What happens when my license period expires?

The app will show an expiry notice on the next launch. You can renew at any time or upgrade to a longer plan.
