Starter (free): what "limited" actually means
Cluely's pricing page says "Limited AI responses" and "Limited meeting notetaking" without a number. That's the single most asked question about Cluely pricing, and Cluely doesn't answer it publicly.
Third-party pages fill the gap, and they don't agree. Final Round AI's "is Cluely free" article and the dailyaifixs pricing post both say five AI responses per day, and dailyaifixs adds a 100-character cap on output. A Japanese review site reported 15 per day after a revision. Our reading: the cap has changed over time and may change again, so treat any number as approximate until you see it in the app.
Five responses is enough to try the overlay on one call. It won't carry a working day. We work through the math in Is Cluely free?
The bigger limit isn't the count. Starter doesn't include screen share hiding, so if you share the screen Cluely sits on, the people on the call can see it.
Pro: $19.99 a month, or $11.99 billed yearly
Pro removes the caps: unlimited responses, unlimited notetaking, unlimited files and Cluely's latest models. Monthly it's $19.99. Cluely's own pricing page title and meta description say "from $11.99/mo billed annually", which works out to $143.88 paid up front for a year. That's a 40% discount if you're sure you'll use it for twelve months.
Two things to know before you pay for Pro:
- It still doesn't hide from screen share. The pricing grid's "Undetectability to Screen Share" row has no tick for Pro. A lot of people upgrade to Pro assuming it does.
- The yearly price is a commitment. $143.88 is cheaper than 8 months of monthly Pro, so the yearly plan only saves money if you'll still want Cluely in month nine.
Pro + Undetectability: the $149.99 plan
This is the plan that matters if you share your screen. It's everything in Pro, plus one line: "Completely hidden to meeting screen sharing software". The jump from Pro is $130 a month, which comes to $1,560 a year for that single feature.
Why so much? Cluely doesn't say. Our guess is that it's positioned as a premium for people who see screen share privacy as high-stakes, and priced to match. On the technical side, hiding a window from capture on Windows is a documented operating system call (SetWindowDisplayAffinity with WDA_EXCLUDEFROMCAPTURE, available since Windows 10 version 2004). We couldn't see an annual price for this tier on October 11. If you find one in the toggle, it'll be on Cluely's checkout, not in any third-party article.
Where the "$75 a month" figure comes from
Search "cluely undetectability price" and you'll see $75 a month on some pages. The dailyaifixs post lists Pro + Undetectability at $75, and Final Round AI's article gives a range of $75 to $149.99. Cluely's own pricing page showed $149.99 a month when we checked. Possible explanations are an older price, a yearly-billing figure, or a promotion. Pay attention to what checkout shows you, not to a blog (this one included).
Mobile and Enterprise: what's reported, not listed
Two more prices circulate that you won't find on Cluely's pricing page:
- A mobile add-on of about $8 a week (roughly $32 a month), reported by Final Round AI and dailyaifixs. Cluely's homepage links to its iOS app, but the pricing grid doesn't list an add-on.
- An Enterprise plan at $200 a month with SSO and role-based access, reported by dailyaifixs. Cluely's pricing page doesn't show it, so this needs a sales conversation to confirm.
We're listing these because you'll see them elsewhere. We can't confirm either.
What Cluely costs over one, two and three years
Using the prices on cluely.com/pricing, October 11, 2026, and assuming no price changes:

AuraCloak's figure doesn't include AI usage, which you pay your provider for directly (or nothing extra if you use an existing ChatGPT or Claude subscription in browser mode). Cluely's prices include AI. It's still a 36x gap over one year for the screen-share-hidden setup.

Paying twice for AI
Cluely bundles its models and doesn't offer a bring-your-own-key option. If you already pay $20 a month for ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro, Cluely is a second AI bill on top. Tools that accept your own API key, or load your ChatGPT web session, avoid that.
The Windows 11 requirement
Cluely's Windows download lists Windows 11 only. If your PC can't run Windows 11 (no TPM 2.0, older CPU), the real cost of Cluely on Windows might include new hardware. Run winver before you pay.
Headline price vs what you need
"From $11.99" is the price in Cluely's search snippet. If you need screen share hiding, the price you'll actually pay is $149.99. That's not a trick exactly, but it is the most common surprise we hear about.
No lifetime option
When you stop paying, Cluely stops working at the paid level. That's normal for SaaS, but in this category lifetime licenses exist: AuraCloak $49, Pluely Dev Pro $120, Interview Coder $799.
Is Cluely worth the price?
Cluely Pro at $11.99 to $19.99 is fair if you use what it's built for. It listens to your meetings, transcribes them, writes notes and answers in real time with that context. For someone on a Mac with six calls a day, the notes alone can justify it, and if you never share your screen, the undetectability tier is irrelevant.
The $149.99 tier is a harder sell. You're paying $130 a month extra for something other tools include in a $9 or $15 plan. If screen share hiding is the reason you looked at Cluely, compare before you commit.
