The overlay does not appear when I press Ctrl+Alt+Space
Another app holds the shortcut. Claude desktop uses Ctrl+Alt+Space for its quick-entry box by default. Change Claude's shortcut, or open AuraCloak from the tray icon.
The overlay shows up in my screen share
Check that Hide from screen capture is on in Settings and that you run Windows 10 version 2004 or later. Older builds show the window as a black box instead of hiding it. Run the visibility test
Windows SmartScreen warns me about the installer
On first run choose More info, then Run anyway. This appears for new installers until Windows builds a reputation for them.
Where do I find my license key?
It is shown on screen right after payment, on the page Dodo Payments sends you back to. Lost it? Email us with your order email or payment ID.

OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, any OpenAI-compatible endpoint (Ollama, LM Studio, OpenRouter), and browser mode for ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini web.
I get a 413 error when I send a screenshot
Large multi-monitor screenshots can exceed the provider's request limit. Set CompressImages=true under [Attachments] in auracloak.ini, or screenshot a single monitor with Alt+Shift+1.
Voice input doesn't pick anything up
Check that Windows can use your microphone (Settings, Privacy and security, Microphone). For offline use, choose Local Whisper in Settings and let the model download once.
