The catch is trust and price clarity. We couldn't read a single price on its own pricing page, its Trustpilot score is withheld, and monthly plans aren't refundable once started. That's a lot of uncertainty for a plan that runs $54.99 a month or more.

What is LockedIn AI?
LockedIn AI is a career app built around an AI copilot. The copilot listens to a call and shows suggested answers and coaching in a window only you see. Around it sit a coding copilot, mock interviews with performance reports and competency scores, and a set of job search tools: Resume Builder, Resume Checker, LinkedIn Profile Optimizer, Cover Letter Generator and Job Tracker. A feature called Duo lets a person you invite follow your session and send text or code suggestions.
Its homepage also pitches the copilot for work meetings, presentations and training sessions, not only interviews. The desktop app runs in the background and stays on top of other windows.
LockedIn claims 1M+ users and shows "4.8 from 2,739 reviews" on its own page. We couldn't match those numbers to an independent source.
How we reviewed LockedIn AI
We build AuraCloak, which overlaps with LockedIn only on private AI help during calls. We read lockedinai.com (home and pricing), its Trustpilot profile, and third-party reviews in October 2026. The most detailed price check we found came from OphyAI on September 29, 2026; OphyAI sells a competing product and says so, so we label those figures as third-party. We didn't subscribe.
What does LockedIn AI do well?
It runs everywhere. Windows 10 and later, macOS 13.1 and later, a web app in Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers, plus iOS and Android apps. No other tool we've reviewed covers that many platforms.
Job search tools in one place. If you're actively applying, having a resume checker, cover letter generator and tracker under one login saves juggling three free tools.
Practice with scoring. Mock interviews come with reports and competency scores, which gives you something to improve against.
Resume-aware answers. Positive Trustpilot reviews mention answer suggestions in STAR format that use the resume you uploaded, and fast responses.
Where does LockedIn AI fall short?
You can't see the price before signing up. When we loaded the pricing page in October 2026, it listed Unlimited, Credits and Lifetime plans but no amounts. Third-party figures disagree with each other, from $49.99 to $54.99 a month for the entry plan and from $999.50 to $1,499.25 for lifetime.
Session caps on "unlimited". OphyAI reports that paid sessions end at 120 minutes (60 for mock interviews), even on unlimited plans. Fine for most calls, but worth knowing for long workshops.
Phone prices are higher. The same review found Unlimited Monthly at $139.99 inside the iPhone app, compared with $54.99 on the web.
Meetings are a side feature. The homepage mentions work meetings and presentations, but almost everything else in the product (mocks, resume tools, the job tracker) is about getting hired. If you want help on sales or client calls, you'd be paying for a job search suite to get it, and the 120-minute session cap applies there too.
Its own pages disagree. Language support is listed as 42, 50+ and 99+ in different places. Small thing, but it makes every other number harder to trust.
What do Trustpilot and Reddit users say about LockedIn AI?
Here's the unusual part. LockedIn's homepage quotes a 4.1 Trustpilot rating. On Trustpilot itself in October 2026, the rating was hidden with a notice that it's unavailable due to a breach of guidelines, and Trustpilot said it had removed fake reviews for the company. 120 reviews remained: 65% five-star and 23% one-star.
The genuine-looking positive reviews praise speed, a clean interface, resume-aware answers and less stress going into calls. The negative ones repeat a few complaints:
- Refunds refused, delayed or offered at 10 to 20% instead of in full.
- Cancellation that's hard to find, and renewals people didn't expect.
- Answers stopping halfway, or ignoring uploaded documents.
- Support replies that feel templated.
We couldn't review Reddit threads about LockedIn directly for this article, so we won't summarize them secondhand; if you read them, weigh first-hand billing stories over affiliate-style recommendations. Small app-store samples are mixed: OphyAI counted 4.5 from 71 ratings on the Chrome Web Store and 3.9 from 15 on the App Store.

Can you get a refund from LockedIn AI?
Probably not on a monthly or quarterly plan. LockedIn's refund policy, as updated on September 17, 2026 and summarized by OphyAI, says monthly and quarterly plans are non-refundable once started, annual plans get a partial refund if cancelled within 7 days, and billing errors must be reported within 7 days. The pricing page shows a "Money-back guarantee" badge without defining it. Read the policy page itself before you pay, set a calendar reminder for the renewal date, and if you only need it for one interview cycle, compare the Credits plan with Unlimited before choosing.
Who should use LockedIn AI, and who shouldn't?
Good fit: active job seekers who want resume, cover letter and practice tools bundled, and who use a phone as much as a laptop.
Poor fit: anyone who needs a clear price and refund policy before committing, and people who want AI help for regular work calls without paying for a job search suite. Also check employer rules: many don't allow outside help during live interviews, and practice tools are useful either way.
For private AI help during everyday meetings and screen shares on Windows, AuraCloak is narrower and cheaper. It's excluded from screen capture by Windows, so it stays out of Zoom, Teams and Google Meet shares.
