Pick Beyz AI if you want an interview-focused bundle with live transcription, translation in 10+ languages, a phone assistant and a Mac app. Pick AuraCloak if you're on Windows 10 or 11 and want a general ask-anything overlay with your own model or ChatGPT login, no account and a $49 lifetime license instead of $49.99 a month. Checked October 2026.
Beyz AI vs AuraCloak at a glance
Beyz calls its desktop app an "invisible desktop". AuraCloak is also an invisible-to-capture desktop overlay, so on the surface they look alike. Underneath, they're built for different days.

How we compared
We make AuraCloak, so factor that in. Beyz's details come from beyz.ai, read on October 11, 2026 (its separate /pricing URL returned a 404, so prices come from the plans shown on the homepage). We haven't tested Beyz on a call, and its invisibility claims are its own.
The Windows 10 question
This is the detail most comparison pages skip. Beyz's desktop app lists Windows 11 22H2 or later. If your work laptop is still on Windows 10, or on an older Windows 11 build your IT team hasn't updated, the Beyz desktop app isn't an option and you're left with its browser tools.
AuraCloak runs on Windows 10 version 2004 (the May 2020 Update) and later, plus every Windows 11 release, on x64. The capture-exclusion flag it uses, WDA_EXCLUDEFROMCAPTURE, arrived in that 2004 build. On anything older, Windows falls back to showing the window as a black box, which we'd rather tell you up front.
Beyz AI pricing vs AuraCloak pricing
| Plan | Billed | Per billing period | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Beyz Monthly | Monthly | $49.99 | 5 AI assistants, no coding assistant |
| Beyz God | Quarterly | $98.97 ($32.99/mo) | Coding assistant, unlimited assistants |
| Beyz Titan | Every 6 months | $149.94 ($24.99/mo) | Coding assistant, unlimited assistants, larger files |
| AuraCloak monthly | Monthly | $9 | Every feature |
| AuraCloak lifetime | Once | $49 | Every feature |
The shortest Beyz commitment that includes its coding assistant is a quarter, about $99. AuraCloak's lifetime license is $49 and has no feature tiers. Beyz includes the AI; with AuraCloak you pay your own provider, or nothing extra if you run ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro in browser mode. Beyz also offers a free start with no credit card, which AuraCloak doesn't. Our pricing page has the full breakdown.
On Windows 10 or 11? Get a private AI overlay for $49 once, with the model you choose.
Get AuraCloakWhat each one does that the other doesn't
Beyz has more products. Its meeting assistant gives teleprompter-style hints, live transcription, note cards and meeting summaries. It translates in real time across 10+ languages, handles phone interviews and builds role-specific cheat sheets. If you want all of that in one subscription, AuraCloak can't compete.
AuraCloak goes deeper on control. Six provider types, a custom system prompt, attachments (screenshots, images, text files, PDFs), and five voice engines including Local Whisper that runs offline with a 141 MB or 465 MB model. Browser mode puts ChatGPT, Claude.ai, Gemini, Copilot or Perplexity in the overlay with your existing login. Click-through mode (Alt+C) lets you keep the overlay over a slide deck and still click the slides underneath.
Put simply, Beyz is a suite for one goal, getting through interviews, and charges like a subscription service. AuraCloak is one tool for many small moments in a working week, and charges like a utility you buy once.
Privacy
AuraCloak has no account, no telemetry and no chat sync. Keys are encrypted with Windows DPAPI in %APPDATA%\AuraCloak, and prompts go straight from your PC to your provider. It never captures anyone else's audio.
Beyz's desktop app is a free download with no account, per its site, but the transcription and translation features send the conversation through its service. That's the trade for automatic hints. Neither is wrong; just know which one you're buying.
How to test any overlay before a call that matters
Whatever you choose, don't trust a vendor's word (ours included). A five-minute test settles it:
- Start a Zoom, Teams or Google Meet meeting with only yourself in it.
- Open the overlay and put some text in it.
- Share your entire screen, not a single window, and start the meeting recording.
- Take a screenshot with Snipping Tool too.
- Stop, then watch the recording and open the screenshot.
With AuraCloak on Windows 10 version 2004 or later, the overlay shouldn't appear in either. On an older build you'll see a black box where it sits, which tells you to update Windows. Repeat the test whenever your meeting app or Windows gets a major update. It costs you five minutes and removes the guesswork from a vendor's marketing page, including ours.
Many employers don't allow outside help during live interviews. Beyz's mock interviews and cheat sheets are prep tools, and that's the use we'd point you to with either product.
